Why do people compare Harry Potter and Twilight?
So I havent read Twilight so I wouldnt know, but from what Ive heard, they arent very similar. So why are they being compared so much?

I think theyre probably compared to one another because they both involve aspects of mythical creatures and theres a heroic figure in each of them. In my opinion, and by the looks of it, most other peoples, I can see huge differences between the two and wouldnt really associate them as books with a similar genre.brbrI have to say though, that I am in LOVE with Edward Cullen. Everyone things Im a right weirdo for loving a fictional character but he is absolutely amazing and I wish people like him existed in real life lol ... strange as it may sound.brbrBut yeah, in answer to your question, I think they are perceived as similar because of the kind of characters that appear in them but I dont see how they are for anything else really.
