Is twilight really that great of a book?

Is twilight really that great of a book?
my stepmom was watching the movie in our living room and and i was walking back and forth getting ready for dance practice, i caught glimpses of it. it seems kinda creepy. like with the pastey skin and weird eyes. and EVERY ONE i know absolutely LOVES twilight.....so im asking if its really that great of a book? because i hate reading and i have a busy schedule...would it be a waste of time to read some stupid, over advertised book about vampire love which is fake, may i remind you? or is it totally amazing and i wouldnt be able to put it down because its so great?

The movie isnt any where near as good as the book the movie is sorta cheesey if you ask me. I really liked the book. But it all depends on what kind of book you like to read. This book is a romantic vampire story. I like mostly science fiction so it was a good choice for me. If you are curious maybe you should buy the book.
